Youtuber Jarkin has a video looking at what Concord could have been with the incredible art of Derek Jones, who provided initial art concepts for the blue sky phase exploration of concord.

But looking at the art it seems to be a lot of wild and more alien like rather than the designs we go in the cancelled version.

The issue with concord at a high level it is inspired by moebius, Retro Science Fiction and Guardins of the Galaxy which is a super hard genre to pull off.

Guardians of the Galaxy had a lot of different design styles on the characters and a irrerevent style story which might not jive with audiecnes today.

Anyway I feel this anime 2D Shaded version of Concord could have worked into the game instead of the realistic vibe it went for.

There were so many reasons why Concord failed, but the art of Derek Jones is definitely not one of them.
