Been seeing a lot of videos promoting Chat GPT Astra making One Shot games.

like it or not the technology is here to stay and be part of the developmental process?

I found this video by Lost Relic Games trying to Answer that question. And I am left that Game Devs not really Cooked Yet.

Here are my thoughts after watching the video and trying out some of these AI games. I do think the technical barriers are removed mostly 80-90% what is left is marketing / distribution and the idea of the game. It needs to be unique.

I’m not going to spend money on tokens just to blindly hope that a game will eventually be released.

Now I don’t think it can prompt out a game I do feel AI can help me in debuggin.

Now I know that AI can clone games and that this is coming.

Maybe the choice now is to pivot to software dev with AI, Will Dig More in another Post and What it means, maybe be a creative technologist.
