The leaked Mass Effect Universe trailer from a BioWare dev looks incredible, but with BioWare closing we won’t get to play it. Trailer, reactions, what’s next.

bioware, cancelled games, mass effect, mass effect universe

So a developer from Bioware posted to Reddit Mass Effect 5 and the internet 🛜 was sad and raged. That they cannot play it.

Sadly we will not see it as Bioware shuts down.

Overall the gameplay and concept feels good set many years after the events of mass effect 1-3.

Mass Effect Universe Trailer by ex Bioware Dev

It’s more spy and Cold War era like rather that all out war threat to the universe. The trailer has a line about stopping fires before it happens. Interesting concept.

The production level quality looks way better and you have the interactivity if ture realtime style looks great.

What the game was about

I can finally talk about Mass Effect Universe.

Since Bioware closed I can now reveal that I was part of the Mass Effect Council, saw what BioWare was building, and provided feedback during development.

• Set 600+ years after the Reaper War
• You play as a customizable N7… pic.twitter.com/69b1HP1wm9
