I think everything is a remix. Look at these two show Ground hog Day and Edge of Tomorrow which has the same concept of someone trapped in the same day with a different setting.
This also shows the power of editing concepts while small in scale they can be made into big ideas with enough time.
I had a great laugh watching the two trailers remixed.
