Looks like Tomino is at it again giving opinions like other veteran anime directors giving opnions on the Coporate Machine of Animation.
I think some might misunderstand his comments but there is some truth to what he is implying and that is digital production is more sterile than the old traditional way of animation. But it could be also a sign of the times we are in.
He also thinks the Anime industry is in decline after this cycle.
I do feel the medium of animation has a lot of potential to tell interesting stories but maybe the big animation companies don’t think the same.
