Not sure how I can re watch this series but it’s cool to know that the series creator, Greg Weisman and Frank Paur

Unfortunately the series went dormant and got cancelled. Greg kept the series alive online though a website S8.org (Station 8) answering fan questions and writing a wiki about the series.

Over the years through the internet and fandom sites and various comic con shows Grgoyles story has been kept alive thanks to these communities and fan engagement.

I have briefly seen this show on the whole TV networks about ancient mythical creatures. The Shakespeare references and the various hero archetypes, this while wrapped up in the kids 90s TV show. It’s a little bit more mature for its time.

The main lesson is sometimes you have to build your own community around your project if you can’t get the funding from major networks.

Reboot

There is a reboot of sorts coming to streaming announced at Disney D23 handled by Atomic Monsters

Dynamite Comics is handing the comics and a couple of books have been published carrying on the story.
