Old Tutorials from Eat3d are being uploaded to Youtube although it’s dated, it still provides foundations to these programs and making 3d Art. Back in the day they were like Gnomon DVDs covering art topics for Game and Animation production.

I do feel some of the topics discussed can be relevant like the design process and workflows. Just need to swap out modbox or UDK with newer toosl.

I would not follow these exactly but it does give a good overview on the older versions of the tools.
